Three generations standing together in MARVAB fleece

Our story

We don't design for an age. We design for people.

MARVAB started with an argument about a hoodie. It belonged to a mother, it was borrowed by her teenage daughter, it came back smelling of someone else's perfume, and it never fully returned. Neither of them was wrong. The piece simply worked on both of them — and almost nothing in either of their wardrobes did.

Most fashion is organised around who you are supposed to be at a given age. A junior floor, a women's floor, a men's floor, and a quiet assumption that after forty you should dress like you've stopped paying attention. We think that's a merchandising decision dressed up as taste.

So we built the opposite. One brand, one standard of make, one set of colours, cut across adult XS to XXL and youth S to XL. A mother, her daughter, her son and her partner can all wear MARVAB without any of them looking like they raided someone else's wardrobe. Same DNA, different style.

One weight. No shortcuts.

Every fleece piece we make is the same cloth: 400 GSM, 80% cotton and 20% polyester, brushed on the inside so it holds its hand after the twentieth wash rather than pilling by the third. Ribbed cuffs and hem, a double-layer structured hood that stands up on its own, a woven neck label instead of a printed one.

The wordmark runs vertically down the left sleeve, embroidered tone-on-tone. It is the only branding on the piece. You should be able to recognise MARVAB across a car park and still wear it to dinner.

Because the cloth is shared, so are the sets. A hoodie and joggers, or a hoodie and shorts, land in exactly the same weight and colour — which is far harder than it sounds and the reason we keep the palette tight.

Made for who you are. And every version of you becoming.

The sizes will change. The person wearing it will change. The piece is built to still be here.
